He previously practised in the area from 2001 to 2013, building strong ties within the local community, hospitals, and medical centres. Between 2014 and 2024, he founded and managed Excel Physiotherapy and Wellness, overseeing the employment and training of over forty physiotherapists. He has also authored numerous publications within his specialised field.

Beyond physiotherapy, Tim is an accomplished author, having published a successful historical fiction novel in 2020. Previously, he studied Archaeology at the University of York (1985–1988) and worked as a professional archaeologist for six years, including roles at the British Museum and the Museum of London. During his undergraduate studies, he also gained experience as a chef in a busy Covent Garden restaurant—now the site of the Apple Store.
Outside of work, Tim comes from a soccer-loving family. His personal passion was Track and Field, competing in the 400m until the age of 38 when hamstring injuries led to his retirement. He also enjoys weight training, dog walking, gardening, reading, and writing for relaxation.
